Our work leverages open web standards (from HTML5 and CSS3 to JSON-LD and RDFa) and advanced algorithms (machine learning and natural language processing) to augment the work of smart humans. Our first product is science.ai, a platform for intelligent publishing, built on open web standards and scaled to the knowledge graph.
Company
Standard Analytics is the company building the science.ai platform. The company was founded in 2014 by two former Princeton University researchers, Sebastien Ballesteros and Tiffany Bogich. Standard Analytics is made of a unique team, including W3C experts (Robin Berjon, HTML5 Editor), deep learning experts (Leon Chen, MIT PhD/Harvard MD), world-class JS developers (Scott Corgan, Chris Callahan) and agency designers (Erik Wysocan).
Joining the SA team is Board Director Elaine Gilde, a board member of New York Angels and advisors Charlie Robbins (Board member, Gold Director at Node.js Foundation), Eric Hoffer (Product strategy expert, with a semantic web bent, Second Integral and SoundBoard Angel Fund), and Pascal Finette (Managing director Startup Lab at Singularity University, Former Google.org and Mozilla).

Standard Analytics is financially backed by members of the New York Angels including Esther Dyson and David Rose, Abundance Partners, Techstars, Knight Foundation Enterprise Fund, Soundboard Angel Fund, and other individual angels. The company also benefited from the support of the Mozilla Foundation WebFWD program and recently graduated from Techstars NYC.
